To record precisely and in their entirety the working hours of all personnel and the operation data of all machines: this was the vision of the company Zürcher Bau in 1996. As there was no adequate system available on the market at that time, a well-known research company was appointed to develop an in-house system.
By October 1997, 50 vehicles and 160 employees had already been provided with the electronic data registration system, tailored precisely to the requirements of a building business. Since mid-1998 the LOGGER has also been distributed to other companies in over-ground construction and civil engineering.
In the meantime, more useful functions were added to this solution for the industry such as the electronic registration of deliveries notes made in the truck before arriving to the site.
